We lost both Henrietta and Miss Prissy over the summer; Henrietta just before Christmas and Miss Prissy mid-January. Very sad indeed. So now the three 'gals' are buried beside each other in the garden.

Humbug has gone broody, so we've left an egg for her to sit on and she spends the vast majority of her time in the nest box. She'll dash out for food and water once a day, but doesn't stay out long. We keep a good supply of layer pellets and wheat in the chook shed, but she obviously wants more as she goes after bugs and green pick when she's out. Toffee just wanders around on her own and lays an egg every couple of days.
